Kiertokapula’s vision is to be known as a competent and responsible waste management operator. The company’s diverse services are produced in an environmentally friendly and economical manner. The activity management system supports the values set by the company, which include a satisfied customer, good environment, well-being of personnel and being an expert partner.

The activity management system is based on operational needs and consists of environmental, safety, quality and information security issues guided by the contents of ISO standards. The company’s environmental management system has been certified in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard since 1998. The occupational health and safety system was certified in accordance with the ISO 45001 standard in 2019. The company’s quality management system received a certificate in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard in 2020.

Scope of application of the activity management system

The activity management system covers all the activities of Kiertokapula, including the operations of waste treatment sites (Karanoja, Kapula, Puolmatka, Metsä-Tuomela, Lumikorpi and Rehakka), municipal contracts and all services provided. Partnerships related to the implementation of activities are also included.
