Starting 1 March 2023, residential properties agree on waste management with Kiertokapula’s customer service. Kiertokapula also handles invoicing. After waste management is transferred to the municipality, any previous waste collection contracts expire and do not need to be terminated separately.
Changes to the ownership of certain rental containers currently in use as of 1 March 2023
Kiertokapula has signed an agreement with L&T, Remeo and Urbaser on the purchase of rental waste containers currently used by residents. The aim is to reduce waste collection rounds and separate bills for rental containers by transferring the billing of waste collection to Kiertokapula as of 1 March 2023. In the future, Kiertokapula will charge a rental fee for the containers it purchases according to the waste fee regulations.
However, the occupant of the property is free to rent a waste container from another provider if they so choose. The rental fee of containers other than those offered byKiertokapula is determined by the agreement between the owner of the container the customer.
In late October 2022, we sent out a newsletter and a request to review property information to property managers and housing company representatives. Read more here. (in Finnish)
